Care Instructions
Our pieces are crafted from full-grain leather designed to age beautifully with proper care. Follow these guidelines to preserve the quality and longevity of your PIRZAI bag.
Daily Care
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade and dry out the leather
- Keep away from rain and moisture where possible. If your bag gets wet, blot dry with a soft cloth and allow to air dry naturally — never use heat
- Avoid contact with sharp objects, rough surfaces, and harsh chemicals
Cleaning
- Wipe down with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt
- Use a leather-specific cleaner for deeper cleaning — avoid household cleaners or alcohol-based products
- Always test any product on a small, inconspicuous area first
Conditioning
- Apply a quality leather conditioner every 3–6 months to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking
- Use a soft cloth to apply in circular motions, then buff gently
Storage
- Store in the dust bag provided when not in use
- Stuff with tissue paper to help the bag retain its shape
- Store in a cool, dry place away from humidity and direct light
- Never store in plastic bags, which can trap moisture
Hardware
- Polish metal hardware with a soft dry cloth to maintain its shine
- Avoid contact with water and perfumes to prevent tarnishing
